month two ♥

Wow!! I can't believe our little girl is TWO months old alreadyy!!!

here it her updated stats
she is now 12 pounds 14 1/2 ounces
&& is 24 1/4 inches long

and is still in the 95 percentile

It was so sad this doctors visit she had to get her shots! I felt so bad she has never cried that much in her life! My poor little sweet girl!! But anyways she is pretty much the happiest baby all smiles and giggles. Although she does have a little bit of an attitude sometime ;] She loves to be sitting up like a big girl and able to see everything thats going on. She is so silly just always talking up a storm and kickin her legs and just wants to be on the go its so cute!! she is so advanced for her age is so crazzyy! ♥ ♥ ♥

Sorry this is like a month later but finally here are some Halloween pictures! Little Harper was a fairy for halloween I made her a cute tutu and got her some wings she looked ADORABLE!! Even tho she only wore it for our little photo shoot of her Shannon and I put on for her. :]] For Halloween we went to a wedding for my friend Sarah it was soo pretty and we had lots of fun!

month one ♥

So it has been ONE MONTH since our little Harper was born! Jeeze i can belive it has gone by so fast!! She had a check up this week and we got her new stats.

She is now 10lbs 14oz & 22inches
& is in the 90th percentile

She loves to go out shopping with her mommy and looking around at all the many thing to look at while shopping. And she LOVES bathtime!!

She is also a very good little sleeper! {we got lucky} She also rarely crys! SHe just like to talk a lot!! She is so amazing && just about the cutest thing EVER!! I cant wait til she start to smile and laugh and can sit up and play with all her toys!!

It all began on Sunday night at 5p when I was scheduled to be induced. Once we got to the hospital and got all situated and I was all hooked up and changed in to my fabulous hospital gown, they took my blood pressure, some blood, and checke little Harper. The results were I had high blood pressure and super low potassium, which is no bueno and Harper was just perfectly good. So they were like okay we got to get this stuff fixed before we start. So I was like okay sound good to me (we dont want any problems). Then I got hooked to even more stuff!! I had an IV with four things going at one point , two belly monitors (watching Harpers stats), a heart monitor, and a finger thing. Oh and at one point i had oxygen too!! It was ridiculous and it was seriously an event when i had to go pee!! Anyways then a little later they came in and was like okay we are gunna start you on pitocin now. SWEET! but that was short lived :[ they had to stop cuz my potassium wasn't getting any better. So they stoped it ughhh the plan had now changed like five times!! and i was geting soo hungry because i couldnt eat anything only ice chips and it was now about 1am!! But my nurse was soo nice and got them to let me eat a sandwich and fruit! yummyy! after that they decided to put this thing in me that softens my cervics and have Dr Huff check me in the mornig. Finally a plan!!


So in the morning bright and early at six a.m. Dr Huff came in all loud a cheer in his basket ball shorts, running shoes, and a t-shirt ( he would hes crazyy and very funnyy i love him!) and checked me out and broke my water! and i felt like i peed my bed it was gross haha. But after that i got my epidural right awayy!!! Then it was only ice chips and waiting til i was all the way dialated. So at about 3pm I started pushing and that lasted about an hour and a half and Harper's head was stuck so i got to rest til Dr Huff got there to do the rest which was around 5:15pm and asked if i wanted help with sucktion or a c-section. I might aswell keep pushing she was alreadyy down there so thats what we did! Baby Harper was born at 5:30pm! and everyone was so amazed and couldnt belive how big she was!!

a little update

Here is a quick update :]
Everything is coming together for little Harpers room i am way excited! I got some very cute stuff today while shopping with my grandma. I got her some very cute bedding for her crib and also a cute little swing for her! I am just waiting for all the furniture to arrive to get it all in her room! I just wish it would come faster but it should all be here this week except her dresser/changing table. {i will post pictures once it totally complete} But everything else will be here! I am also looking forward to the baby shower which i feel like is soo far away! But really its just in 2 weeks then 2 weeks after that is her due date!! EKKK I cant wait! I am soo over being uncomfortable and having huge swollen feet that hurt. :[ but everything is going very well i start see the doctor every week now. Its getting soo close!! yay!!

I am pretty much done with little Harpers room!! I am soo excited I cant hardly wait!! Its getting close! All I have left to do in her room is the curtains for the closet and Im just waiting to get the furniture. Thank you to my momma and dad for that! So its all coming together very nicely and Im excited for my baby shower and all the fun things! It just cant go fast enough!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Ahhhh

Well today I decided to make Harpers room I'm soo excited! So first things first I have to paint and I got it all planed out in my brain. So Shannon came over to help me and we got every thing set up to go to paint 3 of the walls. Since one I am painting a different color later because there is a hole in the wall that needs repair! so we started painting the first coat with out taping the edges because I think I'm a pro haha! but that was to messy and it has to be perfect! so we painted all the middle and made a quick run to go get painters tape. We got it all done after a couple hours but our light was dying so ill have to double check it tomorrow to make sure we don't need a third coat but it looks good! I cant wait to get it all decorated and pretty for my little girl!!!

look at this giant frog we saw by my door when Shannon was leaving! He is as big as my hand is! Apparently he frequents our front porch now Rik saw him last night too!
